Oui Fresh Beauty Box Favourites

Oui Fresh Beauty Box

The Oui Fresh Beauty Box is a subscription box from the amazing duo behind the blog  A Beautiful Mess, Elsie Larson and Elizabeth Chapman. Every month I receive a box filled with wonderful natural and cruelty free beauty products. It’s always the highlight of my day when I see that it’s been delivered.

Today I thought I’d share some of my favourites! These are the products that I’ve tried, loved and will definitely purchase again.

Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist

Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist by Herbivore Botanicals
The main ingredients in this product are coconut water (so it’s extra hydrating), hibiscus flower petals (helps with skin tone and moisture!) and Rose (perfect for reducing redness). This means that face mist is perfect for a midday pickup plus and has the added bonus of smelling absolutely divine!

Glow Stick – Ice by Pink House Organics

Glow Stick – Ice by Pink House Organics
This crème-based highlighter is now one of my absolute favourites. Whenever I’m wanting to move away from my everyday look (think warm peaches and soft golds) this is the product I reach for! Not only is it made from natural and cruelty free ingredients but Pink House Organics is a family owned and run company. I find when I use this Glow Stick sample it tend to be a little bit crumbly (weird, I know!) when applying directly to the skin. I get around this by using my fingers or a sponge to apply the product to my face and as far as cons go this one is relatively tiny.

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel by Erin’s Faces

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel by Erin’s Faces
I’ve never had pumpkin pie before but I imagine it’d smell exactly like this enzyme peel from Erin’s Faces! Containing a whole bunch of ingredient to help with exfoliating and cell renewal is perfect for when you want a really deep cleanse. It was a little bit disconcerting to use at first because after I applied the peel, I did experience some intense tingling (as warned!). I love this mask so much I’ve already looking into buying a full size jar after I finish up with the sample!

Coconut & Papaya Hand Cream by Nubian Heritage

Coconut & Papaya Hand Cream by Nubian Heritage
Nubian Heritage have used coconut oil and papaya extract to create a hand cream that softens and renews the skin. I use this cream most nights before I go bed and the thing I love most about is that it doesn’t leave an oily residue on your hands, the formula just soaks right in.

Cosmic Brownie Lip Gloss by Oui Fresh

Cosmic Brownie Lip Gloss by Oui Fresh
I’ll admit I’ve never been a really big fan of lip glosses and so I’m really glad I decided to give this product a try, as it’s now become a staple in my handbag! Not only does it smell quite nice but the formula is hydrating and feel great on my lips.

Bless Beauty Balm by Leahlani

Bless Beauty Balm by Leahlani
I made sure to bring this moisturising balm with me on my recent trip to Japan because I knew it’d be the perfect thing to refresh and hydrate my skin after the long flight. And boy was I right! This balm helps to soothe redness and inflammation, while also helping to maintain moisture levels and balance out oily skin!

And so there you have it! And if you can believe it, these are only from the first couple of boxes! There was just way too many things I loved to put in one post. So you might see one or two more of these in the future.

Are you subscribed to any beauty boxes?

Or have you tried any of these products? Let me know!

Photo Diary // Japan (Part 2)

Last week I wrote about some of the highlights of my first trip to Japan (check out the post here!) and I have more to share. There are so many wonderful thing to do, see and experience in Japan and I feel like I barely scraped the surface of what’s on offer. I can definitely see a trip (or two!) back to the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’.

Photo Diary // Japan (Part 1)

Hello everyone! Things have been a bit quite around here but I’m back!

At the beginning of April I visited Japan for the very first time for a long overdue holiday, (especially after spending most of March covering my supervisors role!) and so I thought I’d share some of the highlights of my trip.
